I have the absolute fondest memories of Rocking the Daisies this year. Was only two weeks ago but it seems a lot longer than that sadly. Synergy next whoop whoop! (Yes, I whoop)
Bride Counting

Stud and I have an awesome weekend date. Just down the road from our place is the Arderne Gardens. A beautiful spot that many Capetonians probably know nothing about. It’s a free entry garden with a duck population and gorgeous old trees that tower over everything. It’s a great walk with an ice cream and a great chance to get some fresh air. Over the last few months of walking there I’ve developed a new hobby. Being a free to the public garden makes it a favourite spot for wedding photos. On a good summers day there could be tons of wedding parties there and parking is a nightmare. So I started counting how many brides we saw. The most I’ve seen in one sitting is 17. That’s a lot of brides in a small space.
And it being a perfect day today, we took the walk, did the count and came up with a measly two brides. Two! Though we went at 3pm. And I find peak bride time is 4pm.
This was the pick of the crop. Loving the hot pink. And you can’t really see it but the brides maids are wearing silver caps or kind of hats. It was awesome.
